Content Submission and Repository Site

Microsoft’s ThinkWeek started more than 20 years ago when Bill Gates began to take one week a year to step away from daily business and spend dedicated time exploring the thoughts and ideas of great thinkers. As ThinkWeek evolved, hundreds of papers were submitted each year, driving dialog and innovation at all levels of the company. MediaPlant was engaged to redesign and re-platform the ThinkWeek portal to enhance and simplify usability for site users and administrators by improving discoverability of content, including the extensive archive, and facilitating better community interaction. MediaPlant designed the new UI to streamline content search and surfacing, and customized dashboards for facilitating content submissions, the submission review process, and site administration. It was developed on the SharePoint platform using AJAX, JQuery and JSON.
