Microsoft engaged MediaPlant to help its startup-focused teams hone their communication to and around the tech startup audience. MediaPlant consultants met with classes of startups incubating at Microsoft’s Seattle accelerator to help up-level their messaging. We first worked with Microsoft and the startups to identify the business benefits of their technical innovations, then coached them on presenting their pitch to stakeholders and investors, and provided each startup with a unique story that they could place with the press or use in their marketing materials. We then engaged in a content campaign, writing and designing informational overviews and emails, to help communicate the benefits of using Microsoft technology to the startup audience.
